The Naval Air Station Key West (NASKW), Boca Chica Airfield is located on Boca Chica Key, five miles east of the City of Key West. The primary mission of NAS Boca Chica is to provide pilot training and resources for tactical aviation squadrons and to provide logistics and maintenance support for ships and aircraft. The runways at NASKW are required to meet safety standards to allow for unobstructed airspace and safe and efficient ground movements of aircraft.
